Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and Bengaluru Development Minister D.K. Shivakumar is set to transform Bengaluru with his visionary infrastructure projects aimed at redefining Brand Bengaluru.

As part of this transformation, a Skydeck Tower—approximately 250 meters tall and poised to be South Asia's tallest—will be constructed on BDA land near Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Layout. This iconic structure, three times taller than the Qutub Minar and inspired by global architectural marvels, is expected to redefine the city’s skyline and boost tourism.

The Skydeck is designed to offer panoramic views of Bengaluru and attract visitors from across the world.

At the same time, efforts are underway to decongest Bengaluru’s traffic. A twin tunnel road project, connecting Hebbal and Silk Board, is in the pipeline to ease inner-city traffic movement. Additionally, a 114-km Elevated Corridor Network is being planned to complement the city's surface transport system.

Together, these initiatives aim to position Bengaluru as a modern global metropolis, equipped with smart and sustainable urban infrastructure.
