In a high-voltage address from Bhuj, Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued a clear and uncompromising warning to Pakistan and its citizens, urging them to choose peace and abandon the path of terrorism.

His remarks came just days after India’s decisive military action—Operation Sindoor—conducted in retaliation for the recent Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives.

The PM launched development projects worth over Rs 53,400 crore.

“I want to tell the people of Pakistan— sukh chain ki zindagi jiyo, roti khao, warna meri goli to hai hi,” PM Modi said.

The Prime Minister stated that the responsibility to steer Pakistan away from terrorism now lies with its own people. He called on the youth and civil society of the neighbouring country to rise against the forces of extremism that have long gripped their nation.

Referring to India's measured yet firm military response, he underscored that the mission was not only about retribution but also aimed at safeguarding humanity and eradicating terrorism. He criticized Pakistan's failure to act against terrorism.

Highlighting the impact of India's strike, he said the offensive dealt a severe blow to Pakistan’s military infrastructure and forced it into a defensive posture. He praised the bravery of Indian forces and recalled the historic resilience of the people of Kutch, particularly the women who had once rebuilt the Bhuj runway during wartime.

The Prime Minister also drew a sharp contrast between India’s vision of progress and Pakistan’s ideology, stating that while India promotes tourism and global connections, Pakistan continues to treat terrorism as their form of tourism - posing a threat to international peace.

Reiterating India's unwavering stand, he affirmed that any attempt to harm the country would be met with equal force. He concluded by highlighting the development strides made in Bhuj, especially in renewable energy, port infrastructure, and regional connectivity, declaring it a model of progress and resilience.
